85 year Old Billionaire Lady

85 year Old Billionaire Lady give her fortune away for love

"Maria del Rosario Cayetana Alfonsa Victoria EugeniaFranciscaFitz-James Stuart y de Silva"(yes, that's one name) is one of the wealthiest women in all of Spain. She is worth somewhere between $850 million and $5 billion--but not for long. The Duchess of Alba, 85, is giving it all away so she can marry the man she loves.

The duchess's six children were dubious about their mother's plans to marry Alfonso Diez, a civil servant who is 24 years younger. The duchess's children were all from her first marriage to Pedro Luis Martinez de Irujo y Artazcoz, son of the Duke of Sotomayor. He died in 1972.

The duchess remarried in 1978 to a onetime Jesuit priest named Jesus Aguirre y Ortiz de Zarate. He passed away in 2001. The duchess has been friends with Diez for several years. In fact, there were rumors of a wedding in 2008, but nothing occurred after the children "vetoed" the idea of marriage.

Over 110 years, Livermore's Centennial Light Bulb has come to be recognized as the world's longest-lasting light, beaming 24 hours a day. Its 4-watt output and hand-blown glass bulb cast a soft crimson glow from a filament about the width of a human hair.

First installed at the fire department hose cart house on L Street in 1901. Shortly after it moved to the main firehouse on Second. In 1903 it was moved to the new Station 1 on First and McLeod, and survived the renovation of the Firehouse in 1937, when it was off for about a week. During it's first 75 years it was connected directly to the 110 Volt city power, (subject to the power outages) , and not to the back-up generator for fear of a power surge. In 1976 it was moved with a full police and fire truck escort, under the watch of Captain Kirby Slate, to its present site in 1976 at Fire Station 6, 4550 East Ave., Livermore, California. It was then hooked to a seperate power source at 120V according to Frank Maul, Retired City Electrician, with no interuptions since. Declared the oldest known working lightbulb by Guinness Book of World Records.
